HALFSPOTTED HAWKFISH

An uncommon species along reef dropoffs.  Two color morphs exist but always have large black spots on rear half.  Attains 12 inches.  Cocos Keeling to Ogasawara and French Polynesia, excluding Hawaii and large continental islands.
