ARCEYE HAWKFISH        piliko'a

Common perched upon Cauliflower and Antler Coral.  Two forms exist, the light brown form with a broad white stripe is common while the entirely reddish-brown form is uncommon, both have the distinctive multicolored arc around the eye.  Attains 8 inches.  East Africa to Japan, Hawaii, and Mangareva.
