RED-BANDED SHRIMPGOBY
Common in sand pat scuba depths. Inhabits burrows with the commensal shrimp Alpheus.
Red bands narrower than or equal to pale spaces, yellow spots on head.
Amblyeleotris wheeleri. has wide red bars and red spots on head. Attains 3.5 inches. Indonesia to Micronesia and Fiji. |
