YELLOWHEAD MORAY

Uncommon in
crevices at scuba depths. Tapering yellowish-green head with curved jaws,
body gray with wide brown bars becoming obscure in large adults, and a
white fin margin. Attains 32 inches. Red Sea to
Okinawa, Hawai'i, and French Polynesia.
Formerly known as Gymnothorax petelli.
