Commonly
observed during the day on coral reefs at scuba depths. Tapering head with straight jaws,
interior of mouth white, golden brown with white dots increasing in size
toward the tail. Attains 40 inches. Hawai‘i, the Indo-Pacific,
and Tropical Eastern Pacific.
