Locally
common in small holes along ledges at scuba depths.
Head blunt with straight jaws and bright eyes with a dark vertical bar, cream
or yellow with finely reticulated with brown, and a dark spot around the
gill opening. Attains 10 inches. Hawai‘i and the Indo-Pacific.
