Uncommon on shallow sandy reefs where it hunts during the day for shellfish, crushing them with molar-like teeth.  Attains 4 feet.  Hawai‘i, the Indo-Pacific, and Tropical Eastern Pacific.  Formerly known as Echidna zebra.
