Rare in deeper scuba depths.  Burrows in sand and forages at night.  Brown spots vary in size & shape with age.  Attains 2 feet.  Known from scattered locations from Madagascar to Hawaii & Tahiti.  Formerly known as Poeciloconger fasciatum.
