CLARK'S ANEMONEFISH

The most common and widespread anemonefish from the Persian Gulf to Japan and Fiji.  Color and pattern variable.  Up to 5 inches.  Associated with various species of anemone.

 DUSKY ANEMONEFISH 

Common on Entacmaea anemones on reefs to 60 feet from Indonesia to Samoa and Micronesia.  Color variable from orange to black according to locality.  Attains 5 inches.

 CLOWN ANEMONEFISH

Inhabits large anemones to 45 feet.  White bars are not edged with black.  Attains 4.5 inches.  Andaman Sea east to the Philippines, north to Okinawa.

Inhabits large anemones to 45 feet.  White bars edged with black.  Attains 4.5 inches.  Restricted to the Coral Sea, New Guinea, Solomons, and Vanuatu.

Fairly common on large anemones on reefs at scuba depths.  Attains 4 inches.  Indonesia to Okinawa, Micronesia, and Samoa.

WHITESTRIPE or YELLOW SKUNK ANEMONEFISH

Uncommon in Heteractis crispa and Stichodactyla mertensii anemones to 60 feet.  Attains 6 inches.  Indonesia to Okinawa and the Solomons.

SPINECHEEK ANEMONEFISH

Uncommon on Entacmaea anemones to 50 feet in calm waters.  Attains 7 inches.  Males are smaller and bright red and females are large and dark.  India to the Philippines, Coral Sea, and Vanuatu.
