| Common in bays and lagoons to 100 feet. Feeds upon benthic invertebrates and algae.
Attains 6 inches. Sumatra to Japan, Eastern Australia, and Polynesia; stray individuals
reported from Hawaii. Chaetodon falcula in the Indian Ocean has
yellow between black saddles. |
