SUNSET or DOT-DASH BUTTERFLYFISH

Common as pair on coral reefs to 100 feet. Feeds upon coral polyps, invertebrates, and algae. Attains 5 inches. Great Barrier Reef east to the Tuamotus. Chaetodon punctatofasciatus has vertical rows of dark spots.
