CITRON or LEMON BUTTERFLYFISH    Goma-chochouo

Common singly or in small groups on Indo-Pacific reefs to 100 feet, extremely rare in Hawaii.  Distinctive black outer border on anal fin.  Feeds upon benthic invertebrates, coral polyps, and filamentous algae.  Attains 5 inches.  Indo-Pacific, East Africa to Japan, Hawaii (rare), and the Marquesas.
