SLENDER ACROPORA

Common on
shallow reefs in clear water. Domed plates or clumps with neat
delicate branches, long tubular axial corallites, radial corallites with flaring openings
in rosettes. Color variable often with purple tips. Acropora
selago has scale-like radial corallites not forming rosettes. Indo-Pacific.
