NWHI ACROPORA

Uncommon on shallow reefs in the central NWHI.  Small clumps with knobby branches, axial corallites short and tubular, radial corallites variable, tubular to slightly swollen with constricted openings, cream.  Appears to be an intermediate form having traits of both Acropora cerealis & Acropora valida.  French Frigate Shoals to Pearl & Hermes Reef.
