SOLID CORAL
Rare on reefs exposed to good water circulation. Small colonies,
yellowish brown with rounded knobs & peaks. Calices are large,
deep, and bowl-shaped with sharp jagged walls, retracted polyps below
walls. Brigham's Coral has deep
pit-like calices. Hawaii
& the Indo-Pacific. |
